Piarom date is one of the tastiest and delicious semi – dried Dates in the world that is cultivated in southern city of Iran means Hajiabad in Hormozgan province ( more than 95% of piarom Date is produced in Hajiabad). Cirueie ,Tarom , Tazraj and Daraga have the villages in the Hajiabad town where the date is cultivated. Piarom date grows organically in a chemical – free process.

Harvest time and storage conditions

Iranian Piarom Dates is used pitted or unpitted. From the end of September Piarom Rotab gradually losses some of its water and moisture and dries up. This harvest will continue until early November. The dates is available in Jumbo or normal forms. Since Piarom has a high  potential for insect absorption  they have to be kept in cold stores with 0-5 c. shelf life at room temperature about 18  months  under interim fumigation.
